The Vegvisir, also known as the Nordic compass, is an ancient Icelandic symbol. Its meaning is often understood as a protective sign for travelers – a symbol intended to help find the right path, even when the surroundings are unclear or stormy.

The symbol is passed down from later Icelandic manuscripts, in which it is described as a navigational aid. Today, the Vegvisir stands for direction, inner strength, and the confidence to follow one's own path.

With this keychain, you carry precisely this meaning with you – as a silent sign of orientation and constancy.

Each piece is manufactured in the Holzstaub Manufaktur in the Eastern Harz region from a modern, highly filled wood composite material (WPC) with up to 75% natural fibers. The material combines the natural look of wood with the stability and durability of modern materials, making it ideal for daily use.

The finely crafted laser engraving brings out the Vegvisir in detail and durably. In combination with the robust leather strap and the sturdy key ring, a companion is created that is not only functional but also carries a clear statement.

The Vegvisir is more than a symbol – it stands for orientation, protection, and one's own path, no matter where it leads. For yourself or as a meaningful gift.
